PUMA SAFETY SALES JOB DESCRIPTION-NORTHWEST REGION

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The position will require the applicant servicing existing and establishing new accounts in the set region.
  • Sell and promote the sale of all products within the PSS product line which include currently, Puma Safety and Footguard safety footwear.
  • Travel within all the territory making presentations, sales and service appointments, including finding new accounts.
  • Present product in a professional manor to retail buyers
  • Attend requested regional trade shows – possible national shoes I would invite you too
  • Discuss sell through and inventory levels to help drive business with the retailers
  • Help ANALYZE the market trends and communicate the competitions’ hot or not product
  • Understand the technical properties of the PSS product
  • Understand the safety shoe market as well as the competition
  • Ensure POP and marketing merchandise are set in place to the dealers
  • Weekly travel from 2-4 days with one day being a office day
  • Air travel and/or driving is required to present and service new and existing accounts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree or number of years related to the field and related experience
  • Footwear knowledge is a must but not necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and complete follow through
  • Ability to multi-task and good time management
  • Weekly travel from 2-4 days
  • Air travel and/or driving is required to present and service new and existing accounts
  • Be able to lift and carry a 50 lb bag of samples
  • Solid computer skills with all Microsoft applications including Excel and Outlook
